NIMUE is a prominent figure of the Arthurian legend. She has also been called VIVIANE, NINIANE, or NYNEVE, and has been portrayed in various roles in the legend. Among these roles is that of the Lady of the Lake, who came to the surface with King Arthur’s sword, Excalibur.
