AL-LAT was a pre-Islamic Arabian goddess and one of the three primary pagan goddesses of Mecca. referred to as the "Daughters of God" worshipped by the Nabataeans of Petra, who equated Al-Lat with the Greek Athena and the Roman Minerva.
